Choreographer and creative director Del Mak approached me looking for a new brand presence to apply across web content, video and business print formats.
The brand mark was created using 3 core elements as building blocks: the cross "x" or plus "+", the square and the circle. Each element drawing on themes from music and dance such as movement, rhythm, timing, repetition, precision and composition.
The eventual mark features a repeated triangular stamp suggesting Del's initials "DM" with negative space.
Online - delmak.com - Del was looking for a future ready solution that could accommodate an expanding portfolio of projects.
Work is filtered between six categories. Colours differentiate these divisions, corners and rollovers highlight to the user what kind of project content they are interacting with.

A project to centralise ASOS.com reduced cost items. The idea being to differentiate from standard priced ASOS products.
The page changes to a red colour when these reduced "Outlet" items become even lower in price.
A language of price flags was designed to clearly denote categories and calls to action.

Covetique the online home for your pre-owned designer fashion.
Design concepts for refresh of key site pages including the landing page and product pages.
My main aim was to create a clearer hierarchy of information on all pages and to make the purchase pages easier to scan and use.

Working in a team with a creative director, UX designer and another UI designer the aim was to deliver an interactive in-store retail project called Style Online, or e-Boutique. This is a new in-store ‘outfit-builder’ that allows customers to combine any combination of items, and once the outfit has been created, purchase their outfit via the same application.
The project won the Innovation in retail award at the Econsultancy Innovation awards 2012

Role: UI design
At: Selfridges
The Selfridges retail offering is constantly shifting in-store and online, new brands are often added. The current brand pages on the site needed to be updated into a more usable, flexible and future ready format.
A simplified user journey was established and I worked on a set of templates that share consistent basic elements. The main aim was to maximise visual space and therefor marketing potential for brands. Tablet and mobile users were carefully considered throughout the design.
I'll be ready very soon with this project...
Please check back shortly. Thanks HI
